WeCARE Phase I is a multi-phased $1.4 billion World Bank program that intends to rehabilitate the current 110-kilometer two-lane highways of Bhomra-Satkhira-Navaron and Jahore-Jhenaidah in western Bangladesh to a safer and more climate-resilient four-lane roadway. The project is the first phase of the initiative and will renovate 48 kilometers of the N7 highway between Jashore and Jhenaidah, as well as 600 kilometers of connecting country roads and 32 rural markets/growth hubs to promote the local economy 1.

To promote the local economy, the first phase of the initiative would rebuild 48 kilometers of the N7 highway between Jashore and Jhenaidah, as well as 600 kilometers of connecting country roads and 32 rural markets/growth hubs. The roadway will include additional lanes for slow-moving cars and a median safety barrier to divide approaching traffic to increase road safety.

We are glad to showcase that the LOT-2 & LOT-3 of World Bank funded WeCARE project were signed by us on 17th October 2023. It will take our glory to the next step of innovation.
